Party City offers corporate careers in many divisions. Listed below are some of the areas in which opportunities exist:

Finance Human Resources Information Technology Inventory Control Marketing Merchandising Planning & Allocation Store Operations

 Finance
The Finance department coordinates the overall accounting closing process to ensure the accuracy of financial statements. Finance implements accounting regulations and is responsible for public announcements, such as SEC filings, quarterly investor conference calls and press releases.

 Human Resources
The Human Resources Team manages all aspects of employee relations, benefits, recruitment and training. HR works to attract and maintain the most talented individuals, while fostering an environment where employees feel valued and are motivated to reach their full potential.

 Information Technology
The IT Team designs and implements interfaces between programs and systems. This group maintains the information systems and troubleshoots all technical issues. The IT Team keeps things running smoothly throughout the headquarters and corporate stores.

 Inventory Control
The Inventory Control department integrates the operations and financial divisions of the business. The inventory synchronization team ensures efficient systems communications, while the physical inventory team verifies the inventory at the store level. Together these two divisions improve the accuracy of inventory tracking and reporting.

 Marketing
The Marketing Team strives to increase brand awareness. They work on every one of Party City's national advertising campaigns for all corporate and franchise stores. They also increase sales and brand contact by developing new promotional programs and strengthening traditional ones.

 Merchandising
The Merchandising Team has several departments, each corresponding to a different season or valentines. Each division creates the product assortment for Party City's corporate and franchise stores. The team works directly with vendors to select the best assortments for its section of the store and to negotiate the lowest costs.

 Planning & Allocation
The Planning & Allocation Team works with the Merchandising Team to properly allocate and replenish products. P&A members track item and sales trends using yearly comparisons. Based on these comparisons the team submits transfers, purchases and allocations to stores.

 Store Operations
The Store Operations Team translates corporate vision into action. This process involves marketing and pricing campaigns at the store level, working with our franchisees, selecting real estate and everything in between. Store Ops keeps communication between stores and corporate flowing freely and smoothly.
